Elizabeth Johnson was born on May 26, 1812 in Kentucky to Robert B. Johnson and Sarah “Sally” Flack. They had eleven children: Casandra (ci. 1831), Sirena (December 28, 1831), Barzilla (October 22, 1834), Sylvanus (1837), Virinda (1839), Otho (July 21, 1841), Elizabeth (May 18, 1844), Nathaniel (July 29, 1846), Albert (April 12, 1849), Rochsena (1851), and Celista (July 14, 1854). She passed away on September 10, 1889 in Mill Creek, Jo Daviess County. She was buried in Longhollow Cemetery in Elizabeth, Jo Daviess County.
