Anna Bollinger was born December 26, 1807 in Löhningen, Canton, Switzerland to Adam Bollinger and Barbara Billi (VonBerigen) Bollinger. On June 9, 1831 she was married to Hans Mueller. They had 12 children: Ursula (b. 1831), Hans Jakob, Caspar (b. 1833), Jakob Ludwig (b. 1836), Louis (b. 1836), Magdalena (b. 1837), Maria Ann (b. 1838), Johannes (b. 1840), Barbara (b. 1841), Simon (b. 1843), Verena (b. 1845), Stephen (b. 1848), and twins Anna and Margereta (b. 1849).

The family emigrated to Buffalo County, Wisconsin in America in 1852. Anna died in Buffalo City on June 14, 1870.
