Hans Mueller was born on October 6, 1793 in Löhningen, Canton, Schaffhausen, Switzerland to Hans Jakob Mueller and Anna (Walter) Mueller. His baptismal witnesses were George Walter and Ursula Walter, presumably his uncle and aunt. On June 9, 1831 he was married to Anna Bollinger in Switzerland. They had 12 children: Ursula (b. 1831), Hans Jakob, Caspar (b. 1833), Jakob Ludwig (b. 1836), Louis (b. 1836), Magdalena (b. 1837), Maria Ann (b. 1838), Johannes (b. 1840), Barbara (b. 1841), Simon (b. 1843), Verena (b. 1845), Stephen (b. 1848), and twins Anna and Margereta (b. 1849).
Winter Near Buffalo, Wisconsin
The family emigrated to Buffalo City, Buffalo, Wisconsin in America in 1852. Hans died in Buffalo City in 1865 at the age of 72.
